Requirements
- A computing environment similar to what was used in developing the course is recommended, but not required. The course was developed on a Windows 10 laptop with Python v3.6 . Setup videos are available on my “Strong Start Computing” YouTube channel.
Description
You don’t need to be a programmer to use programming as a productive tool. Learning a few of the basic skills and concepts can provide you with a lot of power when it comes to tasks like data manipulation. After you manipulate data into a standard format (e.g., csv), then you can create charts and pivot tables in a spreadsheet application.
NOTE: This course was taken directly out of my ESC4C course (Part B – Section 15).
Who this course is for:
- Intermediate level users who want to improve their productivity through the use of programming to manipulate data into a format that can be used for charting, pivot tables, and other uses.
