This is the story of the ups and downs of Sheila’s cosmetology career and how she became a salon owner in 2006. The last few years of her life were very difficult. Her childhood dream was to become a successful salon owner. Surprisingly, her father helped make her dream come true, which she did not expect. However, becoming an entrepreneur was not as easy as she thought it would be. She spent a few years of her life in despair, worry, and depression, questioning everything. Sometimes she felt like giving up on the business due to all the trauma and stress she encountered, which made it very difficult to achieve success. During her failures and struggles, she learned a lot about her real supporters (those who understood her vision and wanted her to “win”) and those who doubted her, waiting for her to fail. She found motivation within herself through prayers to keep pushing and turn everything around. She overcame all difficulties with self-confidence and hard work. Although it was a long and tiring task for a woman like her, she did it with pride and grace.
After 16 years in business, she wouldn’t trade it for anything; she thanks God for her strength and her ability to do it for so long. She has learned a lot of new skills and silently worked on new business projects that she made a reality. She has been a visionary, a non-procrastinator, a risk-taker, and a self-made person, all when some people doubted who she was. She showed them better than she could tell them. Throughout everything, she has met many loyal, truthful, genuine clients who provided spiritual guidance and turned into friends.
She appreciates everyone for keeping her business going.
