This course is based on my own experience with overcoming Maladaptive Daydreaming which I had since I can remember. I was running away from the painful reality, and I found comfort in fantastical scenarios in my head. I was addicted to it, just couldn’t stop. Every day for decades. Just wasting my life away. The biggest pain was knowing how bad it was and not being able to change it. I just couldn’t stop daydreaming! I felt hopeless and broken. I truly believed it was impossible to break this addiction, and I couldn’t imagine anything different. Literally! Because all my imagination was going toward useless daydreaming.

Today I can easily quiet my mind, I am more present during my daily activities, I perform healthy daydreaming where I visualize my real-life goals, and the very first thing in my mind when I wake up is gratitude. The less I daydreamed the more time I had to learn new things and develop new skills. I am focused on my Real Life, and I love the life I am creating.
